John has been working as a professional bassist since the age of 16, with over 35 years of professional playing experience. John has played in everything from 2 and 3 piece jazz combos, rock & roll power trios, 5 and 6 piece show bands, top 40 dance bands, 17 piece big bands, to pit orchestras.

Originally from Long Island, New York, John studied arranging and composition at Boston’s Berklee College of Music. He traveled on the road in the hotel and “Nevada” circuit for over 12 years and has played behind Rosie Hamlin, The Penguins, Tony Allen and Bobby Sherman to name a few.

John also sings lead and back-up vocals, and has doubled on guitar and keyboards. He has been the musical director of several working combos and also has experience performing two man stand-up comedy.
